Tendril conceived and created a photoreal CG spot revealing Air Miles’ latest Manifesto.
Integrating the idea of optical illusion and tasteful typography, we simulated an art gallery whereby the installations’ movements and morphing culminate in magical reveals.
Our goal was to visualize the Manifesto’s key tenets in such a way that the “twist” moment was akin to the execution of a magic trick.
Initially the continuous camera movement was tricky to execute in that every sleight had to flow in tandem with the one shot sequence. However, delving into illusionary tactics and studying the structures of various gallery spaces really informed the course of this film.
